  I had the pleasure of purchasing a beautiful engagement ring for my fiancée through Silverdale. My initial visit originated from a suggestion by my mother who is a long standing customer of Silverdale and advised that I would likely have an excellent experience through them. On my first visit, both Helen and Emma took the time to look through various ring magazines to help refine my initial choice for the type of ring I was looking for. Lots of amazing advice was offered prior to any choice being made and I felt no sales pressure from either person. Unfortunately, as I no longer live in Bedale It was not possible to visit the store multiple times. Helen however continued contact with me through email, messages, and phone calls in regards to my choices. She took the time to set up a Pinterest board which I propagated with rings I liked, and was able to match one of the rings to my budget. The ring that I chose was unfortunately only offered in white gold, however Helen was able to get in contact with the makers and organise that custom made ring in yellow gold for a fantastic price! Time was taken throughout the process to select a stone which both fit my budget and preference. I at no point felt any pressure to say if I didn't like something, and Helen went above and beyond to procure a stone that was perfect. Between the initial purchase of the ring by Helen and picking it up I was able to pay in custom instalments that best suit me. The final product was far better than I could ever have hoped for and I have one incredibly happy fiancée because of it. I couldn’t recommend a better Jewellers!

  The staff there are MISERABLE and are ignorant to the fact that children ARE noisy and it is not ANYONES fault. It is such a shame i cannot put zero stars as my experience of this establishment was VERY disappointing.
